The
bridge at Rio Vista |
The Rio Vista Ferry, also called "Cashe Slough" and "Ryer Island" ferry.
And 100 years ago, a private ferry operated here called "Ashley". Twin
Diesel engines power this ferry that can take up to 8 cars, and most size
trucks or equipment. Suggest RVs over 30' use the bridge route around
Ryer Island, or wait for high tides to use ferry. |
The J-Mac Ferry is a cable-driven ferry crossing Steamboat Slough,
connecting Ryer and Grand Islands. Located 1 mile north of Snug Harbor
this is a small ferry, and RVs over 30' should not use this ferry. |
