Opinion statement:  Where tunnels make sense
tunnels/wheretunnelsmakesense.pdf  is the series of documents used to explain why tunnels might make sense for water conveyance in certian locations and for reasons other than what is provided in the BDCP.  Given all the horizontal fracking already happening in the Central Valley, which is drawing down the aquifers even more due to fracking-water use, tunnels or huge water pipes placed along the California aquiduct (not in the Delta) actually makes sense.  Plus, all the evaporation of water in warm months would be eliminated and the water would not be exposed to possible accidental or intentional airborn contaminations.  The video explaining the graphics will be uploaded by 5/20/14 if possible, and in the meantime you can either open the pdf or else click on the thumbnails of the graphics used to express my opinion based on extensive research of the issues.  -Nicky
