W I F ISnug Harbor is now a "hot zone"!
     Wireless Internet is now available at Snug Harbor from almost every location in the park, in the marina on Snug Cove or even out on the water on Steamboat Slough!  Forget the expensive cell phone connections or slow land line connections.  Now you can check your email, get audio and video entertainment, play games or make internet phone calls from your own laptop sitting on our sandy swim beach or relaxing on your boat out on Steamboat Slough by our shores!
Here's the logon process:
1.  Make sure you have an 802.11b access method, either a PCMCIA Card or Centrino)
2.  Install the software that came with the wifi card.
3.  Turn on your laptop and go to the internet - you should see the Web on Demand sign-on page.*
4.  Sign up for the time you will need internet access:
     $9.95 per day
     $19.95 per week
     $29.95 per month
     $171 for 6 months
     $331 per year
Other California marina locations with WIFI access:  Sausalito Cruising Club, Village West Marina, Discovery Bay, Vallejo Marina, Petaluma Yacht Club, Pittsburg Marina, Antioch Marina.

*If you do not see the WebOnDemand sign-on page when you click on the explorer logo on your laptop, you need to change your ESSID by going to the Control Panel, click on Network Connections, then double-click the 802.11 connection properties, configure, Advanced, Change ESSID  (or SSID) to "ANY", then press OK, OK.  Now try to connect to the Internet and you should see the WebOnDemand sign-on page.
