NOAA Delta area Navigation Charts
When boating in the Delta, we strongly suggest that all boat captains have a good, current Delta map with them on the boat.  If you want to know the names of the marinas on the different waterways, you will have to use a NOAA chart printed 2005 or earlier because NOAA removed most of the Delta area marinas from their chart starting in 2006, for no logical reason.  The following sections of the NOAA navigation maps of the Delta area are provided for reference for our customers to be able to locate the restaurants, stores and other services nearby Snug Harbor.  Therefore we added notations to the map sections so our boating customers will know the location of the service they may be seeking as they venture out into the Delta.  Click on map thumbnails for larger versions!  As mentioned, for some unknown reason, starting in 2006 NOAA eliminated most of the marina names from their maps, leaving a listing of only about 15 of the Delta marinas.  To see a chronicological order of past official navigation chart sections focused on Steamboat Slough and lower Sacramento River, see this pdf, which starts out with the map from June 2013 found online at a NOAA website/app, which makes it appear Steamboat Slough is not a waterway.  FYI Steamboat Slough does exist and it is navigable for boats with drafts of 8-9 feet or less.  noaamarinas-timeline.pdf  or Chronicles of Delta Access.  Many, many historical maps including all the past navigation charts published for public use can be found at or other timeperiods.
NEW JANUARY 2014!  NOAA posted new charts for California.  Here's the link for the Delta area and for the general NOAA page giving links to all the charts for California:

2006_delta_navigation.pdf  This one eliminated the listing of most of the marinas, except for about 15 marinas
