Snuggle Inn #9

Snug Harbor July    This is a great single loft style cottage that sits waterfront on Steamboat Slough, just north of the sandy swim beach area.

This Snuggle Inn has a full kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with queen bed downstairs, and two sleeping matts in the loft area. We added new flooring, paint and other upgrades starting 2021.  Note that the lofts on the park model RVs are low height-they are perfect to store stuff or for smaller kids sleeping quarters.   Kitchen equiped with plates, glasses, cups and eating utensils.  You need to bring your own pots, pans, linens, towels and paper goods.  You need to bring Linens including sheets, blankets and pillows.  Microwave, stove, coffee maker and toaster in the kitchen.  Dining is best outdoors on the picnic table.  Charcoal BBQ available.

Up to 6 persons can use loft units and this one has a large deck facing Steamboat Slough, and  the docks are right in front.   No pets or smoking in this Snuggle Inn.

Above is a sample kitchen layout and below is a sample single loft layout:

Note that the lofts have low ceilings but they make a great place to "store" the kids or extra stuff!

Sometimes groups of families rent several Snuggle Inns and gather together for meals and fun games under the shade trees.

View below is from Steamboat Slough looking at Snuggle Inns 9, 10 and 11, with Snuggle Inn #9 adjacent to the white fence and the boat is docked in front of the unit.

Some families or groups bring pretty fancy play toys Steamboat Slough in the Delta-Snug Harbor Docksfor their annual summer vacation week here.  Note that the resort does NOT have floating swim platforms so if you see one at Snug Harbor, it is owned by someone vacating at Snug Harbor.

Which brings up one of the favorite "to do" things of many Delta visitors...the "Flotilla"!  Do not be surprised to see large groups of Snug Harbor patrons with their various floating equipment jump into Steamboat Slough at the north end of the Snug Harbor peninsula and float down to our beach area, or to our store to get a nice cold soda at the end of the flotilla run.

What to bring along with you

Linens, towels, pots and pans, paper goods, soap, sun screen, life jackets if you plan to swim or boat, charcoal for the grill.
